The conference was part of IxTC series 2008, provided the Irish Java software development community with a platform to meet, listen to and learn from some of the world's leading authorities on Java technologies delivered sixteen content packed session.

Doug Clarke

Director of Product Management

Doug Clarke is a Director of Product Management for Oracle Application Server's Java Persistence solutions and the co-lead of the EclipseLink Project.

He has extensive enterprise development, consulting, and educational field experience in the areas of object-relational persistence, data access, and systems integration.

Doug brings together concrete experiences from projects of various sizes and industries with a practical approach to design, testing, and performance tuning.

It is Doug's first time presenting in Ireland, however colleague Shaun Smith has presented Building JPA Applications with Eclipse JPA and Dali at the Irish Java Technologies Conference in 2007, and the Eclipse Runtime Project at last year's Irish Open Source Technologies Conference.
